Project Description
The course focuses on the interaction between business strategy and information technology (IT). Students will be familiarized with strategic management approaches from a practice-oriented perspective. The role of IT in strategy development is a cornerstone of this course.
After completing the course, students know standard tools for strategic analysis and design and are able to apply these tools to specific cases. Furthermore, students learn to critically reflect on various stakeholder perspectives (IT view vs. business view), and to develop IT based business models that really work.
